Happy 22nd/23rd Birthday Suho! Joonmyun, Joonma, Myunchael - you’re such a quirky yet wonderful leader. In the past year (& a month), I’ve seen so many different sides of you & I’ve really grown to like them all. The Suho that tries to control and reprimand EXO-K(IDS) but ultimately fails, the Suho that is gentle and always smiles that “grandpa smile” at the fans, the Suho that is a tad bit crazy and uncontrollable at the members’ birthday parties, the Suho that translated Korean to Korean for Tao at the Idol Sports Championships, and lastly, the Suho that is so worthy of being the leader of EXO-K after 7 years of strenuous training.
I know I say this to every single member, but it’s because I truly mean it. You’re an inspiration to me. I can’t imagine how difficult it must’ve been to train for 7 years with the thought “Am I ever going to debut?” lingering in your mind. I’m so happy that you continued to strive towards your goal, ‘cause really - EXO wouldn’t be EXO without you.
I was so grateful that I had the chance to see you perform live at Yeosu Expo on July 12th, 2012 along with the rest of EXO-K. I distinctly remember how you continuously picked on maknae Sehuna during the member introductions, how you sang like an earthbound angel during “Into Your World”, and how you smiled that precious smile of yours at the audience throughout the entire night.
I love you, 김준면. And I know the members do too even though they never listen to you. The way they talk about you during interviews is so endearing, and it seems like you’re such a nice guy with a crazy side. And so, I wish you nothing but the best today, tomorrow, and in the years to come. I’ll wait patiently for EXO’s comeback & I can’t wait to see you doing what you love best, performing on stage. 사랑해용~
